Just what I needed.

This mirror is, for the most part, what I expected it to be. The standard side reflects a clear, normal image without any distortion. The handle folds so that you can stand the mirror on a flat surface for hands-free use, and it's nice and sturdy and doesn't collapse. The handle also has an opening so that the mirror can be hung from a hook. The magnifying side is slightly concave, and provides a nice degree of magnification for things like tweezing fine hairs, putting on makeup if you struggle with near vision, or getting an eyelash out of your eye. The only (slight) problem is that the concave surface results in the magnified image being slightly out-of-focus towards the outer edge of the mirror, so you basically have to center the thing you're looking at in order to see it clearly. In other words, you don't see a clearly magnified image over the entire surface of the mirror, just in the center--the clearly-imaged area is about 2 1/2 - 3 inches across. That doesn't bother me too much since I'm really only trying to see one small area at a time anyway, but it does feel a little "off" when the sides of the image are a little out of focus. Overall it's a decent product and does the job.
