11-12-2024I've tried so many facial hair removers and this one has worked the best by far.Many of the battery operated ones I've had would always leave hairs behind and didn't shave as closely as I wanted, so I had to redo it on a frequent basis.I've also had other derma plane type razors and they weren't very sharp and just seemed to scrape against my skin...leaving hairs behind.Let me tell you...Billie is the bomb!It works beautifully.It shaves very close, leaving no hairs behind.I have found because of the closeness of the shave, you do not have to redo it as often.You do have to be careful though, as you can give yourself a little cut.I was used to the other derma plane type shavers that needed a lot of force to get the hair and was not as gentle as I should have been the first time I used it.Once I realized that you can use a gentle hand with this product, I've had a perfect outcome every time.Yes, you can get cheaper versions of this type of product, but trust me it's not worth it.They do NOT work well.Spend a couple bucks more and GET THIS ONE!You will be so happy you did!

11-12-2024One of THE BEST dermaplanes I’ve tried (and I’ve tried several). I suffer from PCOS and I have hirsutism on my chin and neck so I dermaplane on a VERY regular basis. I don’t like using traditional face razors because it makes me feel less feminine (just my own personal feelings, definitely not meant to be a generalized statement towards other women with PCOS).With other refill-style systems or disposables, no matter the brand, I always end up with a 5 o’clock shadow which is really embarrassing… With the Billie dermaplane, I’m smooth for literally 48 hours minimum. I feel confident enough to walk out of my house on the morning of the second day without having to worry if I’ll start sprouting hairs midday. I haven’t experienced any nicks or cuts from a fresh blade nor have I experienced any scraping or tugging or with an older blade (maybe 10-14 days of use).I’m a Billie fan already, using their leg razor system and their shaving gel as well. But if you’re on the fence with this one, just get it! You will not regret it.
