Work well some like the firmness some don’t but it holds is style. Over all pleased with my purchase.
This chair isn’t the comfiest but I can say it gets comfier over time the more you sit in it. It fits in with our MCM boho design. There is plenty of space to sit criss cross applesauce and add decorative pillows and throw blankets.
So first of all, this was *super* easy to assemble. All you have to do is screw on the legs, and then slide the backrest to the seat of the chair. It has a nice “slide” feature so no screwing anything, just click it into place. A tip for putting these pieces together: have a hammer on hand to “bend” the metal on the seat out. It was a bit too tight in the position it came in.. this will sound confusing, but make sense when you are assembling it. Trust me, a hammer will save getting your fingers smashed :oIt haas really nice fabric & the stitching is well done. One piece in the front was a bit loose, but otherwise feels great. I’ve never had real leather furniture so I can’t really compare it, but it seems sturdy.. I guess time will tell. I do wish the legs were a different color but I suppose I could spray paint them.. they’re a red brown type wood and sort of clash with the orange-y tone of the chair. Now, the biggest con for me is the size. It’s HUGE. It’s not super tall or anything, but it is very very wide. I’m sort of an average sized person and it’s just awkwardly big. I have a pretty small living room so it’s not ideal for me, but I guess I should’ve measured better. The photo makes it appear to be much less wide than it is, which is why I bought it. However this could be a good thing if you need a larger chair or have a large space to put it in.I definitely took a risk with this one as there wasn’t any photos and barely any reviews, but I would recommend it. However - it doesn’t recline (as it appears to in photos) and the back looks a bit cheap with the velcro piece that hangs over. If those won’t bother you, then it’s great. Sturdy and good quality fabric. It’s not the softest or most comfortable thing ever, but I’m sure it will break in at some point. I wish the cushion had more “stuffing” to it, as it feels thin when sitting on it and again is pretty firm. But most of these “cons” are just personal taste really. Hopefully this review is helpful to anyone else wanting to order :)
