Unlike other reviews, we found this to be the perfect height. The wife enjoys the pillow both with or without the wand in place. It make a comfortable support for various activities. The wand can also be "adjusted" by varying the amount that is left protruding from the pillow. When not using it solo, this allows plenty of room between the pillow and the wand head so there is no obstacle to movements. We use the variable speed control (light switch dimmer) so that the switch on the wand can be left on the high position, allowing us to have a wide range of intensity without interruption.A little pricey, but well built and durable.

First off I'll say this item is really well built. The outside cover unzips and there are three cushions inside with separate zippered covers and the foam inside is firm. The wand fits perfectly and snuggly in it with a hole for the cord and the on/off switch is easy to get to. And the fabric is soft and plush. Now for the use of it. It didn't work with the wand. There is not enough control of the cushion and the person using it has to clamp down on the cushion with their legs so the cushion doesn't move. That kinda spoils the moment. It might work well if the cushion was attached to the bed or the person (that sounds like fun). The cushion, if it worked, is a great idea but holding the wand in the hands is still best for now. The cushion does have other uses in the activity it was meant for tho so it wasn't a total waste.
