For over 25 years, husband and wife design duo Cortney and Robert Novogratz have been designing and developing spaces around the world. The Novogratzes' love of design, art, and architecture have driven their careers - they've rebuilt entire city blocks, renovated a Hollywood Hills castle, and built a tree house in Brazil, amongst other cool projects. Their impeccable taste and commitment to attainability bring high-end design to the masses. 03-09-2024I was blown away by the quality of this sofa for the price. When I purchased mine, there was a promotion so I actually paid less than $200 for this model.It arrived in a single compact box which had me worried at first, but when I unpacked this sofa I was pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the material. (The engineering behind the packing and couch design deserve recognition, it’s the most efficient thing I’ve seen in a long time)In a nutshell, I am completely satisfied with this futon. The material is soft and durable, the sofa is comfortable to sit on after long periods of time, and it’s designed to turn into a bed!The style and aesthetic perfectly matches our home, and it was incredibly easy to assemble. It took me less than 30 minutes to assemble by myself, and it seats 3 people comfortably.I hope this blue color becomes available again soon! I could really use another one.

03-09-2024I really like how the couch looks and comparing it to other sofas/futons in the same price range and size it was the best choice personally. I’m using it in an office just for some seating if I want to relax. It’s pretty sturdy but the texture of the fabric is not the most soft. The size is great for me. I fit just right and I’m a 5’10 male. Any taller then you wouldn’t be able to fully stretch out. It was easy to put together. Although the smell of the couch is bad like chemicals. I’m sure it will go away over time. All in all I do recommend this couch because for its looks, price, and function as a futon. So if this is your budget then go for it but if you have a bigger budget, you might wanna find something that’s more comfortable.

03-09-2024Let me start by saying this: I hate futons. I have always thought they were ugly, cheap, and uncomfortable. That has been my experience with ever futon I’ve ever been on or owned. Except this time! I was not even going to consider a futon for my living space but my husband said something like “we could get something cheap like a futon but you’ll never do that…”. So I started looking at futons to prove a point. I came across this little gem and after serious consideration I ordered the black leather one. I was super excited to try this thing out. When it arrived I was immediately annoyed because they sent us the brown leather one instead of black. But I was between the black and brown ANYWAY so I said whatever and we put it together. (We did receive a partial credit back to our account for the inconvenience which is great). It didn’t take long to assemble at all. Once we placed it against the wall I was instantly happy with the look and kind of glad they sent the wrong color.. I sat down and omg it is actually comfortable! Nice feeling material, perfect size, comfy cushions and armrests. I am so pleasantly surprised! I can’t say how it will stand up to the test of time and use…but for the price and the credit received back for the mistake….I’m more than thrilled with this futon!
