30-12-2024This item has a rather serious design flaw which could result in serious public health and safety issues. The item can inflate to 5" diameter inside your colon yet the base is only 1.5" in diameter. Obviously inflating it more than 1.5" (which is the purpose) will likely lead to the base of the product being pulled into your rectum and possibly stuck. If unable to deflate and remove by pulling the tubing without the tubing breaking, you may experience rectal damage and a very uncomfortable and awkward ER visit. I myself being an engineer was able to adapt the poorly designed base to prevent this so it has worked for me, however, no one should have to essentially rebuild a product they purchased to meat safety standards. This product should have a flanged or much, much wider circular base. Unless you're inclined to modify the base of this product, I highly suggest you look at other options. There are a plethora of other similar and much safer designs out there.
