The set of 4 are rather rugged, easy to set-up and have great range. They came with the rechargeable batteries. Charged them the night before, talked on them most of the next day and they still showed full charge. Impressive! Range and clarity on the trails is about 3/4mi. For us, perfect. The built in light is a plus as it’s pretty bright.Honestly, better than I hoped for. Great deal!

The batter life is superb. Range works out to about a half-mile max. Weather channel never worked.
